About GARGI

Established in 2006, Gargi Agriculture Research & Training Institute (GARGI) is Asia's first institute dedicated to Wine, Brewing, and Alcohol Technology. Affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University and accredited by NAAC & ISO 9001:2015, India’s brewing and distilling industry is evolving fast and so is the need for real skill. At GBSTA (Gargi Brew Spirit Training Alliances Pvt. Ltd.), we’re not just building a bridge between classrooms and breweries.. we’re building a generation that knows both science and soul behind every brew.

Through the Gargi Agriculture Research & Training Institute (GARGI), students learn the craft from the ground up; understanding ingredients, process, and precision that turn raw ideas into refined beverages. Every concept here connects to the real world; because our classrooms extend into actual breweries and distilleries. Students don’t just study; they experiment, observe, and create Under its umbrella, Gargi Agriculture Research & Training Institute (GARGI) stands as the country's premier winery and brewing college, where aspiring brewers, distillers, and beverage innovators master their craft. At GBSTA, learning isn’t a promise; it’s a practice.
